Dog Origins

There is a movement in anthropology to re-date ancient artifacts based on information gathered in the last twenty years.  Formerly, these artifacts were dated based on 19th century estimates, which have proven to be inaccurate.  With modern techniques, we  estimate that these artifacts are about ten times older than previously thought. It has now been established with some accuracy that man and dog have peacefully co-existed for a period of 100,000 to 150,000 years.
